Helping You Heal

We are here for you before, during and after the funeral. The grief process is different for everyone, and we want to help you in any way we can.

For many, the days after the funeral, once family and friends have gone home are even more difficult than the moment of the initial loss. The thought of continuing life without this person by your side seems too hard to handle.

Ransford Collon has created an aftercare program, combined with local support groups and services, to help family and friends cope with grief.

Losing a loved one from death at the holidays can be especially hard, but our aftercare team is here for you 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

We can give recommendations on where to go and how to heal. We even offer Guiding Grief, our interactive grief module. Knowledge is power, and the more everyone knows about healing and aftercare, the better. When the funeral process ends, let us help the healing begin. 

Grief Support

Ransford Collon has partnered with Heartland Hospice to offer grief support. Helping Hands Support Group is free of charge and meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4:00 P.M. at the Caro Area District Library, 840 West Frank Street.

Helping Hands is facilitated by Sue Gentle, a Bereavement Coordinator with Heartland Hospice, in cooperation with other local psychologists and grief experts. Together, and with input from the group, strategies for coping with the loss of a loved one are discussed.

Free support and inspirational materials will be provided.  Refreshments will be served.
